Did you watch the game Chris? Our midfield was the problem, and has been for a couple of weeks. We look so slow and lacking in creativity whenever Gardner isn’t playing. The midfield trio of McCann, Muamba and Cohen must be the dullest, least exciting and probably have the least quality that I’ve seen for years. There was no attempt to play it through midfield at all, it was just lump it up to the front man all the way through the game. Terrible stuff, we need Gardner back as soon as possible.
