Warren Obb explores the rumours that others dare not !

due to journalistic integrity (and the fact it might not be him) we have blanked out the ugly mush in this pic
(we would like to express, these are not necessarily the views of bwfcforum or manny road)
Superstar Shrek look-a-like Wayne Rooney was last night said to be close to an Old Trafford exit, according to sources.
The former Everton hitman, 24, has been in sensational form for the champions this season, netting his 33rd goal of the campaign in Sunday’s win over rivals Liverpool.
But in news certain to stun the Old Trafford faithful, Rooney was recently seen close to an Old Trafford exit. Our sources, who were allegedly close to the club at the time, also claim to have photos of Rooney in the compromising position. Negotiations to purchase the photos broke down in order to preserve our journalistic integrity. › Continue reading

What Manny Road has been reading (and thinking) about Bolton Wanderers this week…
- Gary Megson being named Manager of the Month for November (you can’t really argue with that, so fair play and pats on the back, but I’m still not convinced he’ll still be our manager in a year’s time).
Guess the lazy Bolton Wanderers player

Gary Megson admits one of his players is bone idol
Regular readers will know that I’m not a big fan of your regular run-of-the-mill ‘Johan Elmander could be brilliant, could be a flop (never really seen him play so I’ll sit on the fence)’ type season previews.
So imagine my surprise when I read a genuinely interesting account of Bolton Wanderers’ pre-season preparations in this morning’s Sunday Times, which details some of the pretty gruesome-sounding training the players have been doing over the last few weeks.
Perhaps even more surprising is that Gary Megson’s trademark calling-a-spade-a-spade quotes are actually quite intersting. ‘I’m not into all this bullshit-baffles-brains stuff,’ he says when asked about Sam Allardyce’s Cryopod machine, which ‘makes the body think it’s dying’.
Megson also reveals that one of his first actions at Bolton was to tear down the ‘It’s not the result, it’s how you go about it that matters’ sign at the Euxton training ground.
The highlight of the piece, though, is when the Wanderers boss admits one of his players is lazy. ‘There’s no excuse for a modern player to be in the wrong condition. It can only be down to laziness and not being professional,’ says Megson immediately after admitting:
Only one of our players has ‘issues’ and I’ve told him to address them because he’ll fall behind. Otherwise he’s a great lad and good enough to play for England.
So let’s narrow this down. Bolton have 10 English players. Let’s rule out the three squad players – Ian Walker, James Sinclair and Temitope Obadeyi – straight away. And let’s assume that no-one in their right mind could ever think Nicky Hunt or Jlloyd Samuel are good enough to play for England.
That leaves five, three of whom – Gary Cahill, Matt Taylor and Fabrice Muamba – were signed by Megson. So if we assume that the Ginger Mourinho had the foresight to check out their fitness statistics before he signed them (plus Taylor’s outstanding fitness is given special mention elsewhere in the article), we’re left with the two Kevins: Davies and Nolan.
Who’s your money on?
:UPDATE: Not for the first time, I failed to notice Gavin McCann… so we actually have 11 English players. But surely he falls in to the same category as Hunt and Samuel, right?
