“Was Nolan wrong to leave Bolton Wanderers?”
From what I gather it wasn’t really Nolan’s choice. Megson wanted to drop him as he’d been doing badly, but was worried it might have a negative effect on the rest of the team. He decided the easiest plan was a clean break, so bye-bye Nolan.
Nolan didn’t choose to go and wasn’t happy, but was left with little choice.
