Negativity from Bolton fans is nothing new .I have been watching Bolton for 50 years and even when Big Sam got us into europe i would still encounter so called supportes who "HATED THE WAY WE PLAYED "
Sammy Lee tried to change us into an attractive side to watch but unfortunately he nearly took us back to the championship. Who saved us ? Does Gary Megson really deserve the criticism he is getting.I was at Blackburn last season and Bolton where 2 goals up (A little fortunately in my view )and when Blackburn pulled it back to 2-2 the chants from some so called supporters was disgusting. These people when challenged immediately threatened violence. Is this what we want at our club.Listen to the atmosphere at Stoke City ,all the players there have praised the support and stated how much it can lift you . So come on you WHITE MEN lets create an atmosphere to lift our lads and not deflate them.

Renewed my season ticket once again. I missed the deadline for the savings as the post was delayed. However once I contacted the ticket office and explained they glady let me have it at the discounted price. How many other clubs would have done that?

Blow for Whites as cameras snub Reebok
8:00am Friday 10th July 2009

Suprise Suprise Mr Garslime ......WANDERERS have been snubbed by satellite TV schedulers with the news that just one of their Premier League games will be screened in the first four months of the season.

Broadcasters SKY and ESPN announced yesterday the first batch of 48 live matches to be shown before the end of November.

Garslime affronted - he should then try looking very closely at the lack of BWFC top management ability to give us a creative manager, lack of inspiring new signings, and a bolstering of a depleted squad of players not cable of creative exciting football .......oh and not to forget Mmmmmm errr oh yes .....scoring goals would help !!

TV Companys are'nt daft, the perception of what they will get at the Reebok these days is not valus for money and is reflected in their decision . Would you as a neutral suscribe to a live sports channel screening our style of game, and the games last season certainly wont win any new fans !?

Wakey wakey Garslime , again and again ...get real, better still ....get out !!

The only person I will like to get behind is Megson.
On a cliff top to push him off.

Once the deed is done and he is gone forever I would return to the Reebok.

9th year in the premiership and we have all got used to seeing the big boys playing at the Reebok. Let's take a leaf out of Burnleys book, the excitement of premiership football has engrossed the town. Think Southampton, Charlton, Derby etc... and be thankful we can hold our own in the top flight. If we all got behind the boys who knows where we could end up. That includes Megson, he's made some mistakes, but he's also made some astute signings, Cahill, Steinsson & Taylor, give him some rope and we all might be suprised !!!

I think we will struggle to get anywhere near 15,000 ST sold next year. Ok its cheap if you want to move to the NS lower but i went in there for 1 game last year and it was awful, I stood up to cheer when we had a corner and was quickly baracked to sit down!

The east lower where the majority of the traditional support want to sit is still nearly £400 (twice as much as blackburn).

Only time will tell weather the pricing was right or not if we dont sell more than 10,000 then they where obviously too expensive.

The sad fact is we will average the lowest gates out of the lancashire clubs next year (Wigan, Bburn & Burnley) I will still be there but the embarrasing crouds are going to be a major talking point.

It looks like a firming trend.... people can't be arsed to go down the Reebok. The future's Brazilian, well Rio ! Here, only if the match is mega-interesting will people go down the stadium. It's uncomfortable to get there and be there, like the Reebok. Instead TV's been the answer, - usually better atmosphere in puib than in Reebok. You have a good drink, watch in (relative) comfort and don't feel ripped off if the match is crap.
Brazilian matches are often played with crowds under 5000, even the big guys.

Got to agree with Dave there, a couple of years ago BWFC was a break from the boredom of college and uni for me. We had flair and personality with Okocha, Djorkaeff, Campo, Hierro, Diouf, Stelios, Tofting and more. When we were playing with Cohen, McCann and Muamba in midfield for the final few games of last season, that must have been the worst midfield I've seen here since Paul Warhurst and Ibrahim Ba were around. Bolton 'til I die is all well and good, but if I get a job elsewhere next year, I'm not gonna be busting a gut to get back to the Reebok for 2011/12 if the football is still as poor.
