Welcome to the new home of Manny Road

Manchester United will have to wait… we’ve just made a massive transfer!

Forget Kaka, the biggest transfer of the the January window is right here! OK, maybe not… but Manny Road has made the move to this new domain for a small undisclosed fee.

The real domain for Manny Road has always been http://mannyroad.wordpress.com, although in the past you could also reach it by typing mannyroad.com thanks to an automatic redirect.

For commercial reasons, from today Manny Road is no longer hosted by wordpress.com and this new, self-hosted site, is its new home.

It’s still a bit rough around the edges and there’s still a bit of work to do – some of the top level pages are still empty and some of the old video embeds got lost somewhere in migration – but on the whole it’s ready for lift off.

In due course some adverts will be appearing on the site. Yeah, I know, they’re a pain… but it’s time this bad boy started paying a few bills.

Due to the sleepless nights this has given me I’ve had to ignore the build-up to the Manchester United game today (if you’re going to ignore anyone, as a Wanderers fan I guess United are as good a team as any), but there will be some of the usual coverage later in the weekend.
