The Bolton Wanderers chairman gets a video nasty
A few months ago Manny Road started the Ivan Campo Appreciation Society after we found some hilarious You Tube tributes to the great man.
Now it’s time for Phil Gartside to get his own appreciation society, only unlike with Señor Campo, the Wanderers supremo’s immortalisation on celluloid is more of a video nasty than a tribute.
Incidentally, I’m actually a rare breed amongst Bolton Wanderers fans, in that whilst I agree that Gartside is far from perfect, I do think we could a lot worse.
Nevertheless, I still found this funny. If, like most Wanderers fans, you can’t stand Gartside, then you’ll probably think it’s bloody hilarious…

I think you’ll find most Wanderers fans have a positive view of Phil Gartside. Here’s a bloke who’s steered us through some very difficult days and kept a club that, financially, should be in the Championship, to the upper echelons of the Premier League.
Can’t understand why anyone would have anything bad to say about him. Unless, of course, they’re ignorant.

I agree with you on that. But I don’t think most Wanderers fans have a positive view of Gartside… not the ones who inhabit internet message boards anyway
