In the words of Tony Gubba, “Portsmouth have been flattened in less than three minutes here”. Early goals from Matt Taylor and Ricardo Gardner put Bolton in the driving seat and they held on despite Peter Crouch pulling one back for Portsmouth. Let’s hope for something similar today…
